Every year on December 25, we serve a free community meal in Montreal. If you need a meal or some company, you’re welcome to join us.
Everyone is welcome
The dinner is for anyone in need of a free meal, including people who are poor, homeless, lonely, low-income, or otherwise in need. You don’t need to belong to any religious community. The event is non-religious and welcomes people of all faiths, agnostics, and atheists.
What’s on the menu?
We typically serve turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cooked vegetables, cranberry sauce, and gravy. Dessert, coffee, and juice are also available.
Everything except the turkey and turkey gravy is vegetarian-friendly. We also offer a vegetarian gravy. Additional donated dishes vary from year to year and sometimes include vegan options.
If you have an allergy or a dietary requirement, please contact the team to discuss what may be available.
When and where?
Join us on December 25, from 1 pm to 7 pm, at The Concordia Buzz Dining Hall / Cafeteria on Concordia University’s Loyola campus in NDG, just north of Sherbrooke street.
Address: SC Building, 7141 Sherbrooke St W, Montreal, Quebec, H4B 1R6, Canada.
Find the SC building on the Loyola campus map.
Please contact us if you have questions about the entrance or any accessibility needs.
Know someone who could use a meal?
Please share this website with them. A personal invitation can help someone find a meal and a little company on a day they might otherwise spend alone.
Health and safety
Please read our health and safety policy, including what to do if you’re feeling unwell and how to get a takeaway meal.
