Come for dinner
A free meal and some company on December 25. Find out what to expect and how to join us.
A community tradition since 1988
Every December 25, volunteers come together in Montreal to serve a free meal to anyone who needs one. Come for dinner, for company, or for both.

Whether you’re having a difficult time, living on a low income, without a home, or simply spending the day alone, you’re welcome at our table. The dinner is non-religious and open to people of every faith and none.
A community dinner takes a whole community. Here’s how you can be part of it.

A special way to help
Each year, neighbours donate cooked turkeys to help make the dinner possible. Our kitchen can’t cook them all, so this is one of the most useful ways to help. Get in touch to arrange a donation with the team.
About donating a turkeyAt the heart of it
What began in 1988 as a group of people making a free dinner has become an annual community tradition. Volunteers give their time; neighbours and local organizations contribute food, funds, and space. Together, we typically serve over 1000 meals.
